This very difficult descicion has been made as we analyze our sales and profit numbers, manpower, and direction of the company. As of April 1st, 2026 we will no longer be a Stihl dealer and will be shutting down the power equipment division. Equipment currently in for repairs will be finished and products still in stock will be sold, but no further equipment will be accepted for repairs and no new stock will be arriving. We will be unable to provide parts or service, including warranty service, moving forward. Please visit Stihls website to find the next closest dealers to provide service.
Due to losing our additional warehouse we no longer have the space to provide storage service for pre-purchased wood pellets. Customers who currently have pellets in storage can still pick them up as usual but no new pellets can be added to storage. Customers will need to pick up their pellets or arrange for delivery at the time of purchase. We will do our best to continue to keep a continuous supply available throughout the heating season as far as it is within our power to do so.
We will be slightly shortening our hours of operation starting April 1st, 2026. We will be opening at 9:00AM Tuesday through Saturday instead of 8:30AM, and we will be closing at 5:00PM Tuesday through Friday instead of 5:30PM. We will continue to close at 4:00PM on Saturday as usual. We are trying to provide more time for our team to complete necessary non-customer tasks so they can better focus on customer service during business hours.
While we have always encouraged our customers to schedule their annual services / chimney sweeps early, our current state of reduced manpower makes it even more critical this year. We can only service so many customers in a day, week, or month and the earlier you schedule the more certain you can be that your system will be ready to go before the next heating season.
The simple reality is we have acquired more customers than we can realistically service in a given year, and until we are in a position to properly train and hire additional technicians we will do our best to serve as many customers as possible on a first-come-first-served basis. Please call early to schedule through the spring and summer or we may not be able to get to you before cold weather.
